Apply for a Grant

At WolfPups on Wheels, our mission is simple — to help children with disabilities access the therapy and equipment that makes daily life more independent, more manageable, and more joyful. Our grants are need-based and focused on closing the financial gaps that insurance won't cover and families can't always reach on their own.

We offer grants of up to $2,500 for adaptive equipment and up to $1,000 toward therapy.

What We Can Fund ‍

We support a range of essential therapies, equipment, and adaptive tools including: ‍

  • Basic mobility equipment — adaptive bikes, walkers, wheelchairs, and medical strollers

  • Therapies recommended by a licensed professional — physical, occupational, speech, feeding, and more

  • Communication devices and assistive technology

  • Supportive equipment for daily living — orthotics, seating systems, braces, and similar items

Please Note ‍

  • We do not fund experimental or unproven treatments, home or vehicle modifications, or travel expenses. We know these things matter deeply to families and we hope to grow our capacity over time. For now, we have to focus our limited resources where we can make the most meaningful impact.

  • All requests must be supported by a therapist, teacher, or medical provider. A letter of medical necessity, prescription, evaluation, or treatment plan is strongly encouraged.

  • All grant payments are made directly to the provider or vendor — not to the family.

  • Grants are awarded based on need, access, impact, and urgency.

How It Works‍ ‍

Applications for our fall 2026 grant cycle are open September 1st through September 19th.‍ ‍

All applications will be reviewed after the cycle closes. Families selected for a grant will be contacted directly at the email address provided on their application. Please make sure to check your spam folder — our emails come from hello@wolfpupsonwheels.org

To ensure fairness, we are unable to accept/consider applications submitted after September 19th (11:59pm EST).

We know that asking for help takes courage. We are honored that you would trust us with your child's story and we take that trust seriously.‍ ‍

Every application is read and reviewed with the utmost care.
